Becker BZ-2 – Packaging System

At the start of the system, the front of the board is trimmed to remove potential transport damage. After trimming, a minimum 30 mm edge trim is carried out on both sides. If necessary, a corner of the board is removed; this depends on the Fefco type. Finally, the board is creased at the folding points and conveyed out of the machine.

Waste created during processing is carried away beneath the system by a waste conveyor belt. At the machine’s exit, a conveyor belt transports the waste to a container. If the edge trim is too long, it must be cut within the unit to ensure optimal conveying out of the system.
The blanks and products are moved to the folding table where the cartons are erected and filled. In the box closing unit, the cartons are sealed, labelled, and then discharged from the system.
