AL-KO AST 1.5 BASIC

The AL-KO Grinding Table AST 1.5 BASIC is the entry-level model in the AL-KO grinding table lineup. It is certified according to GS-HO-11 and bears the ‘Wood Dust Tested according to BGI 739-1’ seal. This makes it suitable for manual sanding operations as well as machining workpieces with handheld power tools. The grinding table is constructed from galvanized sheet steel. The extraction tray is aerodynamically optimized. Its funnel-shaped design with an integrated air duct directs the airflow precisely to the suction port. Connection to the on-site extraction system can be made via a choice of Ø 140 mm or Ø 160 mm suction ports, depending on the required extraction performance. The folded edge along both long sides of the work surface allows for face-side processing of workpieces. The extraction grids are aerodynamically aligned with the suction connection, ensuring optimal extraction results. For cleaning inside the grinding table, the slatted beech top can be removed, and the air duct can be detached by unscrewing just a few screws. The grinding table is supplied pre-assembled; only the legs need to be mounted and adjusted to the required working height.
