Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the Bio-waste Ordinance (BioAbfV) Ideal for organic waste separation: Effortlessly comply with the legal 1% threshold!

As of May 2025, biowaste may only be treated if the contamination rate is below 1.0% by weight. Our Lepton 5100 is designed precisely for this purpose.

Advantages of the Lepton 5100: Separation instead of shredding

Gentle bag opening: Waste bags are reliably opened without being shredded. No pre-shredder (slow speed) required!

Maximum film size: Films remain largely intact and are effectively separated out in the initial screening process before being fragmented later in the composting process by turning, heat, and UV exposure.

Highest purity: Prevents microplastics in the process and ensures end-product quality.

Process Innovation (flexible control):

Organic waste processing (2-fraction): Reversible middle fraction conveyor homogeneously combines medium and fine fractions. Result: Clean target fraction for digestion/composting plus oversize fraction with films/impurities.

Compost refining (3-fraction): Separation into premium compost, structuring material, and energy wood. The ballistic effect removes stones, glass, and hard plastics via the stone fraction conveyor. Integrated air separators remove remaining film residues.

Current field of application: Proven organic waste processing for wet fermentation. The machine delivers a contaminant-free, homogeneous fraction for the digester, preventing the formation of floating or sinking layers.

Inspection & Demonstration: The machine can be viewed live at our partner site in the Kelheim district. Processes can be discussed directly with the plant operator.
