Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the Organic Waste Ordinance (BioAbfV) Ideal for organic waste separation: Effortlessly comply with the statutory 1% threshold!

From May 2025, organic waste may only be treated if the impurity content is below 1.0% by weight. Our Lepton 5100 has been designed specifically for this requirement.

Lepton 5100 Advantages: Separation instead of shredding

Gentle bag opening: Waste bags are reliably opened without being shredded. A pre-shredder (slow-speed shredder) is not required!

Maximum film size: Films remain largely intact and are effectively removed in the first screening process before breaking down through compost turning, heat, and UV light exposure.

Highest purity: Prevents microplastics in the process, thus safeguarding end product quality.

Process innovation (flexibly controllable):

Organic waste processing (2 fractions): Reversible medium-grain belt ensures homogeneous blending of medium and fine fractions. Result: Clean target fraction for digestion/composting plus oversize fraction with films/impurities.

Compost refinement (3 fractions): Separation into premium compost, structural material, and energy wood. The ballistic effect discharges stones, glass, and rigid plastics over the stone fraction conveyor. Integrated air separators remove the last film residues.

Current application: Successful organic waste processing for wet fermentation. The machine delivers an impurity-free, homogeneous fraction for the fermenter, preventing sinking or floating layers.

Inspection & Demonstration: On-site demonstration in live operation at our partner site in Kelheim County is possible. Processes can be discussed directly with the plant operator.
