Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes such as hygiene wipes, cleaning wipes, moist care wipes, and disinfectant wipes. The manufacturing process includes unwinding the nonwoven fabric from the parent roll, longitudinal cutting for 2-lane production (up to packaging), soaking in liquid, longitudinal folding in Z- or W-shape, cross-cutting (wipe length), one cross-fold, stacking, and conveying to the packaging unit, which handles film feeding and wrapping of the wet wipes, punching the opening hole (for wipe removal), and applying the resealable label as well as pouch cutting/heat sealing. Integrated splice units increase efficiency during material, film, and label roll changes. - Specifications: suitable for dry nonwovens (spunlace); folding: Z- or W-fold (folding tool change required); fold panel per side adjustable; folded wipe size: L(70-100)xW(40-100) mm; unfolded wipe size: L(140-200)xW(140-200) mm; number of wipes per pack (min. to max.): 5-30 wipes; wet wipe grammage: 35-80g/m²; machine cycle rate idle: max. 900 wipes/min or max. 90 packs/min; pouch size: depending on folding dimensions and number of wipes per pack; film roll dimensions: width max. 280 mm, diameter max. 400 mm; suitable films: OPP film (transparent, printed or laminated); nonwoven parent roll dimensions: width 280-400 mm, diameter max. 1200mm; label roll dimensions: width max. 60mm; diameter max. 300 mm; power: 25kW, 380V, 3-phase; machine dimensions: L8500xW1520xH2350mm; weight: 5000kg.
