Becker BZ-2 Atomic – Packaging Line

At the beginning of the line, a trim is performed at the front of the cardboard to remove possible transport damage. After this, an edge trim of at least 30 mm is carried out on both sides. If necessary, a corner of the cardboard is also cut off; this varies depending on the Fefco type. Finally, the cardboard is creased at the folding points and conveyed out of the machine.

Waste generated during this process is transported out of the machine by an integrated waste removal belt located underneath. At the machine’s outfeed, a conveyor belt disposes of the waste into a container. If the edge trim is too long, it must be cut within the system so that it can be conveyed out smoothly.

The blanks and products are conveyed to the folding table, where the cartons are erected and filled. In the Box Closing Unit, the cartons are sealed, labelled, and conveyed out of the machine.
