The semi-automatic, hydraulic saws of the X-tech line offer top cutting technology and maximum performance when machining special steels.
- The electro-welded machine frame and steel saw frame meet all cutting requirements and eliminate vibrations and noise.
- The chip conveyor is hydraulically driven and its speed is adjustable.
- All movements of the machine (saw frame, vice, feed, blade guides) are carried out via modern linear guides with high static and dynamic load capacity, ensuring extremely low sliding friction as well.
- Another distinctive feature is the material positioning rollers, which are powered by a hydraulic motor. These move at a right angle to the material, allowing for optimal clamping.
- With the height control of the band saw position, the operator can place the blade close to the top of the material. After the cut, the blade automatically returns to its previous position. Alternatively, you can select the option to remain in the lower position. During the cutting cycle, the software compares cutting load with preset values and can stop the sawing system in case of irregularities.
- The saw blade is cleaned by two adjustable steel brushes, driven hydraulically.
- The hydraulic unit, including filter and manometer, ensures particularly smooth operation at consistent pressure.
- Precision-ground carbide inserts securely clamp the blade, complete with side-hardened and adjustable guide rollers. The adjustable band guide automatically moves as close as possible to the material.
- The saw blade is tensioned by a hydraulic cylinder, which is controlled by the machine’s software. Tension is automatically released after a set time in idle or after a cycle is completed.
- Automatic version with CNC control available in X-TECH 900 / 1200 models for high production rate series, featuring a feed length of 500 mm.
- The material is supported by a table with seven rollers, powered by a hydraulic orbital motor for precise material positioning even under maximum load.
- All guided movements are powered by four recirculating ball guides with high capacity for both static and dynamic loads, ensuring drastically reduced feed friction. Hardened and ground prismatic guides.
