Design of the 'WTG-1' Woodworking Tool Grinder

The WTG is powered by a robust 500-watt motor.
A dust-protected, high-precision, ball-bearing linear guide—used thousands of times in machine tools, industrial robots, and special precision machines—acts as the carriage.
The infinitely variable grinding feed is achieved via a precise and self-locking dovetail slide.
The tool is clamped securely and stably using a parallel clamping system.
