The heat exchangers are part of the plant and were simply ordered separately. The new price of the plant was therefore over EUR 2 million.

The official commissioning took place in April 2024, however, this only involved trial runs and not series production.

System Configuration
The plant essentially consists of:

• 1 preheating furnace (BSN 1607) – electrically heated, jet heating
• 2 holding furnaces (BSN 1608, 1609) – electrically heated, air circulation
• 2 heat exchanger furnaces (BSN 1610, 1611) – unheated, with air circulation
• 1 charging machine (BSN 1612) – electric/hydraulic
• 12 charging racks (BSN 1614)
• Switchgear with PLC control (Siemens S7 1515F 2PN, Profinet) and operator panel
• Contact thermocouples for direct billet temperature measurement

The plant is manufactured as a complete machine compliant with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (CE conform).
