CG 3 – Hold Point Grinder for Die Cutting Tools

With pneumatic drive for high feed force and patented hold-down system. For burr-free grinding of hold points and preserving the functionality of the rubber coating.

The pneumatic drive powered by compressed air generates a very high and consistent feed force that is permanently available, eliminating the need to account for charging cycles or battery changes. The fabric-reinforced air hose is extremely flexible.

The large support surface prevents tilting during grinding, allowing the operator to grind the hold points straight and with precise positioning. The depth of the hold point is set precisely using the depth adjustment feature.

The patented hold-down system for rubber coatings and ejector materials prevents grinding into the rubber or the profile. The benefit: fewer and smaller hold points are required and the performance of the die-cutting rubber remains intact. The hold point grinder is available in versions for corrugated and solid board. The attachments are designed to fit standard widths of diamond grinding wheels for both corrugated and solid board.

Using diamond grinding wheels allows optimal setting of breakers. Compared to conventional stone wheels, diamond wheels are extremely durable and break-resistant. They are also longer-lasting and more sustainable. The appropriate diamond grinding wheel in the desired size is included with the hold point grinder.

Manual hold point tools are the ideal complement to the hold point grinder. The chisels can be used to enlarge the hold points after grinding, if required. Two manual hold point tools are also included free of charge in the set.
