The COLUMBUS Pioneer is a professional vacuum or membrane press designed for applications such as vacuum forming and gluing, veneering, laminating, and coating of flat or curved workpieces. The modular concept allows the machine to be tailored to different requirements and is available in various sizes and configurations.

Models/Modular system:

The COLUMBUS Pioneer is designed as a modular system and available in BASIC (classic vacuum pressing such as veneering, laminating, and form bonding), HEAT (heating and thermoforming of plastics and solid surface materials), and VERTICAL (processing taller workpieces and convenient loading/unloading via vertical opening) configurations, which can be combined as needed or retrofitted at a later date.

COLUMBUS machines are built for long-term use and manufactured from high-quality industrial components. COLUMBUS provides a lifetime warranty on the machine frame (excluding wear parts).

Every COLUMBUS Pioneer is part of the COLUMBUS 360° system. This includes the digital Master Manual with comprehensive practical knowledge on vacuum technology and Master GPT – an artificial intelligence system for all questions about the machine, applications, materials, and optimal process parameters. The system supports users with setup, operation, and process optimization and is supplied with a tablet for immediate use.
