Nitrogen inertization with residual oxygen monitoring:
The test chamber is initially purged with a large N2 flow rate until the oxygen content drops below 3%. Afterwards, it switches to a base load amount (approx. 10% of the purge quantity).
The nitrogen base load flow is measured, displayed and monitored via a flow meter and limit switch.
The O2 monitoring system continuously draws gas from the test chamber through a flame arrestor and passes it over an O2 sensor to monitor the residual oxygen content. The gas is then returned to the test chamber via a second flame arrestor. The extraction pump is monitored with a flow meter. Further details are provided in the Dräger operating manual in the appendix.
The gas system is currently deactivated!
