The voltage supplied by the energy provider must comply with EN 50160 and IEC 60364-1. Stable voltage is essential for consistent performance. The power supply must not exhibit voltage fluctuations across the grid tolerance, as may occur from spot welding systems, for example. If stable supply at the installation site cannot be guaranteed, operation requires a transformer and/or voltage stabilizer.
