The Duplo Bookletmaker System 5000/4000 is a highly advanced and efficient finishing solution that ensures precise and reliable brochure production optimization. Manufactured in 2013 and currently in operation at a German print shop, the system processes sheets up to 350 x 500 mm, making it ideal for a wide range of brochure and leaflet formats.

The system features two collator towers with 10 bins each (DBM 4000), providing smooth and organized sheet assembly. It also includes a delivery/offset stacker (DBM 4000) for clean output stacking and a stitching and folding unit (DBM 5000) for professional booklet assembly. A specialized pressing unit (DBM 5000) ensures crisp and flat results, while the integrated trimmer (DBM 5000)—equipped with new blades and an upgraded controller—guarantees consistently clean, precise cuts.

The system offers an adjustable kicker/display function for individual interval settings, enhancing operational flexibility. The DBM 4000 components were built in 2007, and the DBM 5000 units were added in 2013. With 4 million cycles per tower and 2.5 million cycles on the trimmer, this system has proven its durability and performance. Ongoing maintenance by FKS Hamburg ensures the machine is always in optimal working condition and meets the demands of high-volume production.
