This is a brand new machine manufactured in Romania by Emsil. Customer requirements can be taken into account depending on technical feasibility and are checked in advance by the manufacturer's engineering office.

About the spindles:
The Narwhal features a boring spindle made of hardened, tempered, and alloyed steel, assembled with preloaded angular precision ball bearings. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a milling and boring bar capable of delivering exceptional performance and torque. The bar is made from nitrided, alloyed steel and also utilizes preloaded angular precision ball bearings, operating within bronze guide bushings. The clamping systems of both units, used for fixing and releasing the ISO 50 tool taper, operate automatically.

Rotating Rotary Table:
Table rotation is achieved via a dual pinion gear system, a centrally supported shaft, and a hydrostatic sliding block for the central bearing, designed to ensure maximum precision even with large, unbalanced loads. A recirculating ball system is provided for the X-axes. Both axes feature direct measuring systems.

CNC Axes Control:
All 9 machine axes are continuously monitored. The monitoring system is equipped with a 15'' TFT screen, control panel, remote diagnostics to alert the user in case of faults, user memory, network connectivity, remote process control, integrated PLC, and more. The machine is compatible with various control systems, such as Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens, etc. You select the travel ranges for the X/Y and Z axes: from 1200 – 3500 / 1000 – 3500 / 400 – 1500 mm, tailored to your needs!
