We offer an unpacking and sieving station as well as an unused roller mixing station from EOS GmbH. This mixing station is specifically designed for use with wide-neck drums and enables the efficient blending of sieved used powder with new powder over a set period of time. The prepared powder can then be used in EOS Formiga P100 or P110 systems.

The unpacking and processing station consists of:
• an unpacking area
• a sieving unit for used powder
• a feeder for new powder
• and a scale for preparing plastic powder.

After removal from the machine, the cooled exchange frame is placed in the unpacking and processing station.
Stepwise lifting of the build platform using a foot pedal pushes the powder bed containing the parts out of the exchange frame. The sintered parts are manually unpacked from the powder bed. Reusable used powder from the powder bed is pushed onto the adjacent perforated sheet and then falls through a hose into a sieving bowl. The used powder is sieved into a powder container that sits on a scale beneath the sieving unit. The scale enables precise determination of the sieved amount of recycled powder.
Subsequently, by turning a hand crank, a previously determined amount of new powder is added to the recycled powder in the powder container. The prepared plastic powder must then be mixed in the mixing station before it can be returned to the production process.

Mixing Station
We offer an unused roller mixing station from EOS GmbH. At the mixing station, new and recycled powder that has been filled into powder containers at the unpacking and processing station is blended. A powder container is rolled or laid onto the mixing station and then continuously rotated for a pre-set time period. Once the set duration has elapsed, the mixing station stops and the powder container can be removed.
