5 Technical Description
The machine operates using a wet grinding process and must only be run with a suitable grinding emulsion.

A band filter system is used to filter the accumulated grinding dust from the emulsion.

The machine is equipped with an elastic sanding drum, which is used for fine sanding and burr removal. Two counter-rotating flap wheel brushes or, alternatively, stainless steel brush rollers are subsequently used for edge rounding. Two downstream spring steel brushes serve to remove the oxide layer from the cut surfaces.

Pressure rollers inside the machine hold down the workpieces on the continuous conveyor belt during the grinding process.

At the machine's outfeed, an integrated drying unit dries the workpieces before they exit the machine.

The machine features a continuous conveyor belt for workpiece transport.

Optional special versions may include an integrated vacuum suction unit or a magnetic conveyor. This enables the processing of smaller workpiece sizes. For non-magnetic small parts, this requires a minimum length of 80 mm and a minimum surface area of 200 cm². For magnetic small parts, the minimum length is 80 mm with a minimum surface area of 40 cm².

All sanding and brushing elements are fitted with spray pipes that continuously wet the tools with emulsion, thereby fulfilling the prerequisites for processing aluminum and its alloys.

The grinding dust is conveyed by the emulsion to the band filter unit and retained by a suitable filter fleece.
