Operating Instructions
Special permit required if the overall train length exceeds 16,500 mm.
When transporting 45 ft containers with a short tunnel, with or without a front extension, the permissible system length from kingpin to the rear edge of the vehicle and the overall train length of 16,500 mm will be exceeded! The underrun protection must be manually extended! An exemption permit according to § 70 StVZo is required!
