These conveyors can be manufactured according to purpose and dimensions. As with the general structure and the belt system, hinged belt conveyors are durable as long as they are regularly maintained.

Hinged belt conveyors are used for the transportation of a wide range of long, coarse, corrugated, and crumbly chips from transmission steel, tool steel, aluminum alloys, and other materials such as Teflon, Delrin, etc. Hinged belt conveyors are the most commonly used type of chip conveyor.

These are systems designed for the transport of chips from the production process and for the separation of cutting oil/coolant from the chips. Hinged belt conveyors can be manufactured with or without a tank for returning the cutting oil/coolant to the system.

In our standard production, we use four types of chain pitches: 31.75, 38.10, 50.80, and 63.50. The chain pitch is selected according to the quantity of chips to be conveyed, and the width and length of the conveyor, as well as the motor and gearbox, are selected based on the chip quantity per hour. Coolant recycling is also taken into account during this selection.

The conveyor can be controlled either via a control panel or through the CNC control of a machine tool using a plug connection.
