The CNC lathe Hardinge Quest 6/42 SP with Fanuc 16i/18i/21i control from 2007 is a high-precision machine for versatile turning operations. It features a robust spindle mount A2-5, 42 mm collet passage, and a 150 mm chuck, enabling flexible machining of various workpiece sizes. With a maximum turning diameter of 309 mm, even larger components can be machined reliably. The axes offer generous travels of 189 mm (X) and 406 mm (Z), as well as fast rapid traverse speeds, ensuring high productivity. The 12-position VDI 30 turret, with an extremely short indexing time of 0.1 seconds, provides rapid tool changes and minimizes downtime.
