Coordinate drilling machine/jig borer in exceptionally rare, excellent condition from second ownership (41 years with previous owner). Electrical system partially overhauled and modernized. Includes an extensive tooling package in as-new condition with a HENKA tooling cabinet.

The coordinate drilling machine features the rare option of motorized table drive in X and Y axes with potentiometer. Tedious manual cranking across long distances is therefore eliminated. It also features rare thermal stabilisation and expansion compensation. Two separate heaters are provided for this purpose, which must be activated before work begins and to maintain high precision and pitch accuracy. This explains the factory-certified position accuracy of 0.002 mm at a resolution of 0.001 mm.

A unique feature: this Hauser is equipped with two Heidenhain digital displays, with a total of four glass scales with 1µ resolution, including the quill feed. This is a major advantage for precise drilling and facing in depth using Wohlhaupter, spindle tooling, etc. With the aforementioned options and in this first-class condition, machines like this are very rare and likely unavailable elsewhere.
