Heesemann Automatic Sander KSA 8, 2600mm Wide Belt Sanding Machine

The automatic sander consists of:

1. Frame Structure
Designed to hold the transport bed, with mounting options for 1 sanding unit and 1 brushing device.

2. Transport Bed
Individual conveyor belts, feed speed adjustable from 5 to 25 m/min, frequency-controlled, constant working height of 920 mm. Thickness setting for workpieces (3–80 mm) via height adjustment of the entire upper machine section, monitoring of toothed belts for lifting gear at height adjustment speed of 3 mm/s, includes integrated control cabinets.

3. Industrial PC 21.5"
Capacitive multi-touch color display, resolution 1,920 x 1,020, CF card, Windows Embedded Standard operating system, with production data acquisition (display of production and downtime). Ethernet port available. Program memory for 1,000 programs. Motor speed parameters are saved and automatically set upon program selection.

4. Profinet Interface
For higher-level control systems.

5. Longitudinal Sanding Unit with Contact Roller for Calibration (Steel)
Balancing grade Q 1 (finely balanced) according to VDI 2060, drive via Poly-V belt, maintenance-free bearings.
- Roller diameter: 350 mm
- Sanding belt dimensions: 3,250 x 2,650 mm
- Belt speeds: 1–24 m/s
- Motor power: 37 kW via frequency inverter
Infinitely variable adjustment of belt speed, wear-free braking system, intermittent belt cleaning unit, automatic infrared belt control, sanding belt in counter-rotation mode, manual grain compensation. Infeed: segmented, pneumatically controlled pressure lips. Outfeed: continuous, pneumatically controlled pressure lips.

6. Central Height-Adjustable Brush Roller Unit
Includes extraction hood and pressure roller. Brush trim: horsehair. Diameter: 250 mm. Motor power: 5.5 kW.

7. Workpiece Vacuum Clamping System
For safe transport of workpieces shorter than 750 mm in feed direction, includes integrated fan. Operating voltage: 400V, 50 Hz.
