Description of the drilling machine:
The electric drilling machine VS 50 GB is designed for drilling, roughing, reaming, and thread cutting in single-part and series production. This machine comprises four main components: housing, column, electrical installation, and cooling. The spindle housing is adjustable and rotatable by 360° around the column. This type is equipped with a feed mechanism. The machine features a rigid construction and high operational reliability. The drill has four feed stages with electromagnetic clutch. Pre-stage and feed gearboxes are lubricated by oil mist, supplied by a pump located in the lower part of the housing. The electromagnetic clutch ensures the selected feed rate and simultaneously switches off the automatic feed when the preset drilling depth is reached or if the maximum pressure on the spindle is exceeded (e.g., due to a damaged or blunt tool).
Drilling depth is set using a millimeter scale. The drill spindle is mounted in ball bearings, and a spiral spring ensures spindle return. The electrical equipment is centered in the control cabinet and fully complies with all EU regulations. The machine controls are located on the front panel.
