The path control is very easy to operate; length and radius corrections can be made within the program. No advanced CNC knowledge is required for this. Of course, the Hermle can also be operated manually without the control system. Furthermore, the machine features hydraulic clamping in both vertical and horizontal axes. Changing from vertical to horizontal operation is very simple thanks to the swing-away vertical head. The guideways are regularly lubricated by the central lubrication system.
