Description:
The Instron 2663-822 Standard Video Extensometer (SVE) is a non-contact optical measurement system designed for the precise acquisition of strains during tensile, compression, and bending tests. By utilizing contactless measurement via digital image processing, surface markings on the specimen are tracked—completely eliminating any mechanical influence on the test results.
Ideal for applications where conventional contact extensometers (e.g., blade-type) are unsuitable, such as with thin, sensitive, or elastic materials.
The SVE is compatible with Instron materials testing machines and can be integrated with Bluehill software (depending on system version).
