Purpose of use
The automatic high-performance longitudinal circular saw KMS is designed for precise finishing and joint cuts. It features a robust, durable construction and is engineered for continuous industrial operation in the woodworking, plastics, or metalworking industries.

Machine Design
Sturdy, welded steel frame in heavy-duty design.
Motor protection switch with automatic star-delta starting.
Carriage guidance via precision ground steel rails and ball-bearing rollers; rails mounted on exchangeable supports.
The entire carriage unit is positioned beneath the front machine table.

Saw Unit
Lowerable circular saw assembly, electro-pneumatically liftable.
Cutting height adjustment manually via threaded spindle.
Continuously adjustable feed speed from 1–60 m/min, powered by frequency-controlled motor.
Return speed constant at 60 m/min, independent of feed rate.
Cut length reduction for varying cut lengths adjustable via selector switch.

Machine Table
Front machine table made of reinforced longitudinal beams, adjustable and stably mounted.
Table surface of profiled steel sheets with hand grips.
Freely suspended width stop, supported and guided on three sides.
Spindle drive with fine adjustment by handwheel, scale directly readable.
Usable width: 400 mm (standard version).
Electro-pneumatically controlled fence with automatic retraction for unobstructed cut-off fall.

Rear machine table is narrow, can be swung downwards electro-pneumatically for free fall during longitudinal cutting.

Saw Blade and Extraction
Designed for saw blades Ø 400 mm, bore Ø 30 mm, mount Ø 80 mm.
Maximum cutting height: 70 mm.
Integrated extraction duct, Ø 150 mm.

Double Circular Saw Unit “DUO”
For pre-cuts and reverse cuts, consisting of two saw blades Ø 400 mm and two motors with 11 kW (15 HP) each.
Total cutting length: 3200 mm.
Pressure beam in torsion-resistant design with parallel guidance, lifting movement electro-pneumatically controlled.
Integrated finger-touch safety bar.
