THE MANDREL BENDER WITH MANUAL CLAMPING

This mandrel bending machine with a manual eccentric quick-clamp for tube fixation enables efficient bending operations. The compact drive unit with a detachable mandrel carrier offers advantages for use directly at the installation site. By incorporating position detection directly on the bending axis, we achieve optimal bending accuracy. The bending angle is set quickly and easily via a convenient touchscreen control with a menu-driven user interface. The comfort control provides two speed options as well as a programmable overbend function to compensate for material springback.

The bending process is significantly shortened by the automatic "free movement" at the end of the bend. For more complex bending tasks, bend programs can be stored with a sequence of up to 50 angles per geometry. An almost unlimited number of programs can be saved to the controller or a USB stick, along with up to 200 different materials. The plug-in bending tools allow for rapid changeover to other tube sizes. For tricky geometries, the machine can be reconfigured for right- or left-hand bending as standard. The open bending unit allows, for example, the bending of railing frames with only one weld seam. Optionally available calculation software determines the total cut length for the entire geometry as well as feed path, twist, and bending angle for each bend. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can retract automatically upon reaching a specified bending angle.
