THE ECONOMICAL BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BENDING RADII:

The bending machine with a free-standing bending head can be easily converted for complex geometries to both right- and left-hand bending. Plug-in bending tools allow for quick changeover to other tube sizes. A high-speed hydraulic system for reducing non-productive times is a key factor for series production.

The clamping pressure for tube clamping is optimally adjustable. The PLC control (USB-stick expandable), with data storage and the latest X2X interface, can store an almost unlimited number of programs for bending angles, length measurements, and twist angles for up to 50 bending sequences on a single tube. A freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available for monitoring springback values.

The machine offers two operating modes: In "Simple Bending" mode, length and rotation of the bends are displayed automatically. In "Controlled Bending" mode, the data is pre-stored and a continuous set-actual value comparison is performed during bending.

This eliminates mispositioning within a tolerance window and thus minimizes user-dependent error rates. General error messages are displayed in full text on the large screen. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be automatically returned early upon reaching the bending angle.

The compact drive unit with detachable mandrel support offers advantages for on-site installation as well as for special designs with very long tube loading, and is also available as a stationary variant with an organizing system for tools and mandrel rods. The cost-effective alternative to fully controlled CNC machines.
