Saw unit guiding:
High-performance sawing technology requires the use of backlash-free and low-maintenance guide systems. Two vertically positioned square guide columns, one linear guide unit with backlash-free carriages, as well as two preloaded and adjustable rollers on a guiding rail, ensure high rigidity and cutting precision. Greater cutting capacities, shorter cutting times, higher guide system life and high availability characterize the new KASTOtec. Maintenance-free bandsaw blade guide system.

Bandsaw blade guide:
Side guide through hydraulically preloaded carbide slide guides, with quick lift device for rapid blade change. Back guide via floating-mounted carbide slide guides. Automatic adjustment of the movable blade guide according to the material width to be sawn.

Material quick lift device:
After the cutting process in the automatic cycle, the material is retracted approx. 2 mm away from the feed-side bandsaw blade in the clamped state by means of a material quick lift device (increases blade life).
