The robust steel-welded machine frame ensures very smooth running. Both machine stands are offset to allow grinding of parts longer than the machine table. The 3-roller belt guidance provides a maximally open working area for the operator, especially facilitating work with hand sanding blocks. The belt drive is powered by a three-phase motor with a dynamically balanced drive roller. The belt has adjustable pneumatic tensioning. The dust extraction device is designed to effectively collect grinding dust and direct it to the extraction nozzle when connected to a suitable extraction system. To ensure fatigue-free operation, the grinding unit is mounted in play-free roller guides. The machine table can be quickly and easily set to the correct workpiece height by the electromotive table lift. The table lift guides are maintenance-free. For loading, the table can be retracted so far that workpieces do not need to be pushed under the sanding belt. The electrical controls for the main functions are centrally located for operator convenience.

The basic machine is supplied with an initial equipment belt (W x L) 150 x 7100 mm and a contact roller approx. 50° Shore for 150 mm belt width.

Additional accessory:
3-axis table with integrated handling device for rotating and swivelling the workpieces.

The handling device is mounted in the centre of the table, under the insert frame. To use the handling device, the insert frame is removed from the machine table. The handling device is equipped with four vacuum suction pads for clamping the workpieces and consists of a rotary axis bearing with a brake disc at the rear. The swivelling device is attached to the front of the rotary axis, featuring locking positions at 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, and 90°. An additional indexing disc on the swivel head allows for fine adjustment of the workpiece relative to the sanding belt. Release of the rotary and swivel axes is actuated pneumatically via a foot switch, while rotation is manual. Maximum workpiece weight using table with insert frame = 80 daN. Maximum workpiece weight using handling device, based on the clamping plate = 25 daN or 120 Nm relative to the centre of the rotary axis.
