The machine is equipped as standard with central lubrication and roller guideways in the flat bed of the X-axis, as well as air lift-off in the grinding headstock.

BEMA standard equipment includes:
- Digital read-out in 2 axes. X-axis resolution: 0.5 µm
- Spindle speed display for grinding spindle
- Infinitely variable speed control for grinding spindle (70-100%)
- Infinitely variable speed control for internal grinding spindle (70-100%)
- Workpiece spindle drive by three-phase motor, continuously variable via frequency converter

Optional extras (at additional cost):
- Rotary encoder with digital display in workpiece headstock
- Rotary encoder with digital display in grinding headstock (no height adjustment possible with spindle)
- Sine bar
- New robust internal grinding attachment (80 mm or 100 mm diameter), with height adjustment
- Increase in centre height to max. 225 mm
- Speed control for the grinding spindle
