System configuration:
1. Main washing zone:
– Equipped with a centrifugal pump rated at 2.2 kW (900 l/min at approx. 1 bar) distributing water across a total of 50 stainless steel nozzles, enabling thorough cleaning of all four sides.
A plate filter continuously cleans and filters the washing solution.
– Tank volume: 180 l
– Washing temperature in the main zone: 50–55°C
Crate transport is effected via a spiral conveyor (KITZINGER utility model), ensuring precise crate separation and allowing unobstructed impact of the washing medium for comprehensive cleaning of all sides.
2. Rinsing zone:
– The cleaned products are sprayed from all sides with fresh water within the machine.
The fresh water supplied must be at least 45°C and is further heated in the system to approx. 80°C. Approximately 250–300 l per hour are required.
