Advantages of the Kortho GraphicJet 18P

The compact printhead and separate ink tank, together with a variable standard mounting bracket, allow installation at almost any position in the production process—whether marking cartons from above, or labeling trays or paper sacks from the side.

Each printhead can freely create a print design up to 18 x 500 mm. A print design may include up to eight lines of text, logos, time, date, barcodes, batch numbers, and shift codes in various display variants. The displayable font height is 1.5 mm to 18 mm per line. Text and graphic elements can appear both horizontally and vertically in a print image.

Automatic Numbering

Batch numbers, serial numbering, pallet numbering, and other variables in various formats. Multiple numbering codes can be included in a single print image.

Automatic Date Coding

Expiry date, production date, and other variables in various formats, such as day of year, day of week, week of year, in Arabic numerals. Multiple date codes can be included in a single print image. Dates can also be entered directly by the operator at the control unit.

Automatic Time Coding

The time is taken from the controller’s timing chip, with various display formats available. Multiple time codes can appear in a single print image.

Automatic Shift Codes

Up to 25 shift codes definable over a maximum of 7 days. Multiple shift codes can be included within a single print image.

Graphic Images

Logos can be imported as black-and-white bitmaps via the KIGS software. Multiple images per print image are possible (depending on design size).
