When installing outdoors, the load capacities are reduced by wind and snow loads.
The base must be concrete, flat, suitable for dowels, and capable of bearing the applied loads. The ground conditions, load-bearing capacity, and any required official permits must be checked and ensured by the customer.

The uprights are to be anchored to the floor on site; wall anchoring is neither necessary nor recommended.
According to the trade association, it is recommended that the uprights have at least a 500 mm projection above the top storage level.
