Calibration and Fine Sanding Machine, Kundig Brilliant wide belt sander with electronic segmented sanding pad, tiltable sanding unit, and lacquer sanding capabilities.

Ideal sanding machine for interior finishing operations, also suitable for intermediate lacquer sanding. Single-belt machine with combination unit and electronic segmented pressure beam. Edge segments can be individually switched on or off. Segment width of the pressure beam is 22mm (ideal for intermediate lacquer sanding). Pneumatically adjustable calibration roller, grooved and rubber-coated, with grit compensation. Drive motor: 11 kW. Infinitely variable feed speed from 3 to 15 m/s via frequency inverter. Conveyor belt speed steplessly adjustable from approx. 3 to 15 m/min. Automatic belt cleaning device controlled by workpiece detection.

Consistent working table height of approx. 950mm due to adjustable machine upper section, also suitable for integration into sanding lines. Feed belt is still very grippy and in very good condition. Conveyor carpet with adjustable vacuum blower, allowing even small parts to be held securely.

Maximum sanding width approx. 1100mm. Workpiece height approx. 3.5 to 200mm. Sanding belt dimensions: 1120 x 2000mm. Infeed and outfeed roller tables. Hood interlock. Extraction connections: 1 x 180mm, 1 x 125mm.

Terminal control unit with 45 programmable sanding programs for automatic machine control. Parameters: belt speed, feed speed, workpiece thickness, belt blower nozzle, vacuum blower, calibration roller adjustment, and parameters for the segmented sanding pad.

Thickness measurement system with adjustable stock removal and Enormatic automatic thickness adjustment with feed actuation, eliminating the need for constant manual caliper measurements.

Programs for various sanding tasks can be saved and selected via smartselect.
