Application:
Lehmann gravity band filters PF are band filters for cleaning coolants (KSS) used in metal-cutting machining processes.
- Used as a standalone filtration unit on machine tools or in combination with chip conveyors
- Typically used locally (for one machine tool)

Description of the filtration process:
1. Contaminated liquid flows through the inlet box into the filter trough
2. The filter fleece retains dirt particles as the liquid passes through
3. The dirt particles form a filter cake, which also separates even the finest particles
4. The purified liquid collects in the clean tank

Regeneration process:
1. The growing filter cake increases the flow resistance
2. The liquid level in the filter trough rises
3. At a defined level, the belt drive activates (alternatively: time-controlled)
4. The carrier belt feeds a fresh section of filter fleece onto the filter surface
5. The liquid level drops again
6. A sludge container collects the contaminated filter fleece
