Chip Processing System for the Recovery of Coolants, Oils, and Drying of Chips

Steel chips are shredded and centrifuged. The separated coolant/lubricant is processed and returned to the system. The dried chips are collected in a customer-provided chip cart. Sedimented sludge is collected in a container and discharged into a customer-provided sludge container.

The centrifuge is suitable for integration into a continuously operating chip processing system and then operates without manual intervention. Maintenance costs—which are relatively high for other centrifuges—are lower for this horizontal centrifuge, as every component is easily accessible. During maintenance, the centrifuge does not need to be lifted or moved. All grid racks and wear parts are positioned at an ideal working height.
