The dry-processing SBM-L 1000 G1S2 enables alternating operation on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. It deburrs and rounds the edges of outer and inner contours on stamped, laser-cut, fine plasma, or waterjet-cut workpieces with a thickness of up to 50 mm on both sides in just a single pass.

* Two grinding units, one each on the top and bottom, remove spatter and light burrs from the outer and inner edges of sheet metal.
* A total of four abrasive belts, two each on the top and bottom, process the sheets on both sides simultaneously. All edges are either deburred or rounded, depending on the tool settings.
* Double-sided processing eliminates the need for labor-intensive turning and repeated machining of the workpieces.
* Each unit pair can be switched on/off and adjusted individually according to requirements.
* Including Siemens S7 control system:
- Simple and user-friendly operation thanks to the intuitive interface
- High operational security via three password-protected user levels
- Integrated program memory
- USB/RJ45 interface for data exchange or connection of external components (e.g., barcode scanner)
- Direct input of material thickness via touch panel
- All axes automatically adjust to the preset material thickness
- Standby position for deactivated units
- Service-friendly (e.g., plain text error messages)
