Bluhm Weber Legi-Air- 4050S Labeling Machine

4.14.1 Basic Structure

The system is designed as a closed aluminum profile frame and has a very compact construction.
The control cabinets are integrated into the lower part of the frame.
The main valve terminal block is mounted behind a service door, below the control panel.

The system includes four workstation stops.
Operation is via a touchscreen.
The control panel is mounted on the right side of the frame.
A Bluhm Weber labeling system is used in this station; the corresponding Bluhm documentation applies.

4.14.2 Functional Sequence

- Incoming workpiece carriers with I/O modules are stopped, lifted (positioned), and contacted at substations 10.1 and 10.2.
In these two stations,
- At substation 10.3, the I/O modules are automatically labeled. The generation of the labels and their contents is automated, as is their application to the devices.
- After labeling, the module is finalized in station 10.4; for this, it is stopped, lifted, and contacted. Following finalization, the workpiece carrier is automatically discharged from the station.
