Product Innovation: Sawing System Type "ORIX"

The sawing system enables fully automatic processing of a wide range of aluminium profiles. The machine consists of a sturdy base frame. The saw unit is positioned using linear guides and precision carriages. The drives are equipped with servo motors. For sawing, the saw unit travels 300 mm forward along the Y-axis and can process special profiles, plates, or Item and Bosch profiles with ease. The support table features movable rollers that are automatically positioned according to cut length. All rollers are also mounted on precision carriages. Additionally, the saw comes with a stable discharge table to deposit the cut aluminium parts. (Optionally, cut parts can be directly removed via a conveyor belt, including chips.) The machine is available with a cutting length of 6,000 mm, resulting in a total length of 7,000 mm. The saw system is supplied with a suitable 2-channel minimum quantity lubrication system. Furthermore, the unit is delivered with either a 400 mm or 600 mm saw blade.

Workflow:
Input the profile length into the control system. The saw unit then moves to the set length. The operator loads the aluminium profile and starts the saw. Using a head cut detection sensor, the saw locates the head cut position, performs the head cut, retracts, and then moves to the next programmed coordinate to cut the aluminium profile again.

These steps repeat until the profile is completely processed.
All cut parts are gently placed on the discharge table or the conveyor belt. Material clamping, as with standard aluminium saws, is performed directly at the saw unit using vertical and horizontal clamps. After sawing the aluminium profile, the saw unit automatically returns to the next loading position, and the process can be repeated. Optionally, cross-conveyors for automated feeding are available. Safety fencing or light curtains can also be integrated. Two control versions are available: 1) Diethei control, 2) Siemens control. Optional features include sorting material into different containers or by length.
