Description:
The new ZSX-TWIN Ec carpentry chainsaw is the practical solution for processing large-scale timber components. With the development of a dual-motor chainsaw, MAFELL has introduced a new standard that enables previously almost impossible and time-consuming tasks to be carried out effortlessly and with precision. With a nominal output of 3,000 watts, a single CUprex motor already pushes a 230 V power supply to its limits. Two CUprex motors running simultaneously would overload any standard household circuit. By distributing the power across two circuits, the dual-motor ZSX gets the output it needs. This is precisely what industrial power supply offers, as the phases are separately protected, preventing overloads.

Benefits:
Thanks to single-phase technology, the ZSX TWIN delivers a nominal output of 6,000 watts while weighing only 20 kg. This enables longitudinal cuts up to a cutting depth of 400 mm! In timber construction and when processing solid wood wall elements, corner cutouts are often necessary. The vertical cutting tool allows cutouts and lap joints to be produced quickly and accurately, eliminating the need to turn large timber components—saving time and effort. The core of the ZSX-TWIN Ec is its two 3,000-watt single-phase motors, operated in parallel via two 230 V phases from a three-phase supply. The saw can be tilted from -15° to +60° precisely according to scale.

Longitudinal and cross-cuts, cutouts. Suitable materials include solid timber and glulam beams.
