This drilling and sawing system is ideally suited for the efficient cutting, drilling, center punching, marking (scribing), and thread cutting of profiles and flat bars in steel construction and steel trade. The Kaltenbach KDX-S drilling unit is equipped with 3 drilling spindles, each with 26 kW drive power and a five-station tool changer per unit. The Kaltenbach M150 length measuring system (measuring trolley) is designed together with the T13 transport system for profile lengths up to 18 m. The comprehensive material handling system for profile steel also features infeed and outfeed cross conveyors for transverse profile transport. The CNC control together with Kaltenbach Profiline III software allows for data processing in DSTV and DXF formats.
