Application
This foulard-dryer combination has proven itself excellently in practical use. It is used in this configuration for a wide variety of hot-air treatment processes such as drying, fixation, condensation, thermosoling, etc. This unit is deployed wherever a certain sample size is already required, for example to produce sample collections or similar.
Dryer THA
If foulard and dryer are to be used separately in addition to continuous operation, the dryer type THA should be chosen. This unit features an unwinding system at the dryer inlet and a draw-off unit at its outlet. In individual operation, this element determines the fabric speed. This allows foulard and dryer to be used independently and simultaneously. For drying, fixation, condensation, etc., the material is loaded onto the dryer.
If all of the previously mentioned applications should be ensured and the use of pin frames is also required in individual dryer operation, the THN version should be preferred. The standard pin frames are suitable for a sample size of max. 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available on request). Options include longitudinally adjustable frames for woven fabrics or longitudinally and width adjustable material holders for knitted and warp-knitted fabrics, nonwovens etc., as well as clamping frames for films and paper.
Drying Chamber
The drying chamber with electrical control box and operator panel is mounted on a frame and bolted together as a single unit.
Good thermal insulation of the dryer is ensured by a double-walled construction with intermediate insulation.
The nozzle field, 1300 mm in length, is divided into an upper and lower nozzle section. An adjustment flap allows ventilation to be set equally above/below or to favor more air from above or below.
Fan and Heating
Intensive air circulation is ensured by a high-performance fan, capacity approx. 900–3500 m3/h, combined with precisely matched heating output, resulting in optimal evaporation performance.
A dual-protected monitoring system reduces maintenance requirements and increases dryer operational safety.
The heating capacity is designed for rapid heat-up and is automatically reduced once the desired temperature has been reached to avoid unnecessary power peaks.
Temperature control is via an electronic measurement and control unit within the 20–250°C range.
Dsdeu D Ariepfx Agnsku
Fresh air is fed directly to the recirculation fan by a separate blower, and the required amount is adjustable via a multi-step switch.
