Application
This foulard-dryer combination has proven to be highly effective in practical use. This model is used for a wide variety of treatment processes in hot air, such as drying, heat-setting, condensing, thermosoling, etc. The unit is suitable wherever a certain sample size is required, such as producing sample collections or similar tasks.

Dryer THN
If all of the aforementioned applications need to be ensured, and if the use of pin frames is also desired during standalone dryer operation, the THN type design is preferred. Standard pin frames are suitable for sample sizes up to a maximum of 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available on request).

The THN design can be equipped with longitudinally adjustable frames for woven fabrics or longitudinally and crosswise adjustable material holders for knitted goods, nonwovens, etc., as well as clamping frames for films and paper.

Drying Chamber
The drying chamber, along with the electrical instrument box and operator control panel, are mounted on a base frame and bolted together as a single unit. Excellent thermal insulation of the dryer is achieved through double-walled construction with intermediate insulation.

The nozzle section is 1300 mm long and is divided into an upper and lower nozzle compartment. With a regulation damper, you can set even air distribution from above/below, or adjust for more air from above or below, as needed.

Fan and Heating
Powerful air circulation is ensured by a high-capacity blower (approx. 900–3,500 m³/h) combined with a well-matched heating output, resulting in optimal evaporation performance. A double-safeguarded monitoring system reduces maintenance requirements and enhances operational safety. The heating capacity is designed for rapid heat-up and is automatically reduced upon reaching the desired temperature to avoid unnecessary power spikes.

Temperature control is managed via an electronic control and measuring device within the range of 20–250°C. Fresh air supply is fed directly into the recirculating fan by a blower, and the required amount can be set using a multi-stage selector switch.
