The guidance of the saw carriage with main and pre-scoring saw units operates on a hardened and ground round shaft guide system. The highly precise gear and rack drive ensures extremely smooth running of the saw carriage at cutting speeds from 5 to 100 meters per minute. High-end cut edges are achieved via automatic cutting height adjustment for optimal saw blade entry angle and the highest running smoothness of the saw carriage. The dual measuring system guarantees maximum repeat accuracy. The pressure beam opens according to the material height, reducing material handling times to a minimum. The “Greenline Package” with controlled extraction sliders and direct motor control can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%.
