The scrap shear is capable of cutting almost all types of scrap material.
Note: The machine is not recommended for cutting high-carbon steel, such as:
axles, wire ropes, pig iron, spring steel plate, rails, alloy steel, hubs, etc.
(These hard materials damage the cutting blades)

Function:

Scrap is loaded into the feed area with the help of an excavator. Thanks to the horizontal feed section and the scrap's own weight, the material falls down into the loading chamber and into the cutting area. The scrap is compressed against the front wall and cut by horizontally moving tool holders across the blades on the end wall. While the tool holder carriage moves horizontally, the processed material is pushed out over the blades at the front wall of the container. During the return stroke to the rear position, the scrap, due to its own weight, moves further into the interior of the shear.

Scrap shears are available in various designs according to customer requirements, and the output size can be selected (for new orders).

Inspection and test operation are possible.
