Popis
The MACSQuant Analyzer 16 is a benchtop, automated flow cytometer designed for multi-parameter cell analysis, combining convenience, sensitivity, and flexibility for both research and advanced cell therapy workflows.
It is part of the MACSQuant family and builds upon earlier models by providing 16 optical parameters (i.e. multiple fluorescence channels) while maintaining compact size and automation.
It is often used in immunology, immunophenotyping, cell and gene therapy (CGT) analytics, quality control, and other cell biology applications.

Optical & Detection Equipped with three spatially separated lasers: 405 nm, 488 nm, and 640 nm.
16 detection / optical parameters (i.e. multiple fluorescence channels plus scatter)
Emission detection includes FSC (forward scatter), SSC (side scatter), and a variety of fluorescence channels (e.g. V1–V5, B1–B6, R1–R3) with matched photomultiplier tubes (PMTs).
Fluidics / Sample Handling Minimal uptake volume: as little as 1 µL (with recommendation ~25 µL for volumetric counting).
Sample flow rates: 25, 50, or 100 µL/min, or automated adjustment to maintain target event rate (e.g. 500, 1,000, or 2,000 events/sec)
Maximum event rate: up to ~15,000 events/sec ALT |
Compatible with tubes (1.5, 2, 5 mL), racks, and plates (96-well) — switching between tubes and plates is user-friendly.
It uses an automated robotic needle arm for sample aspiration, mixing, and washing of injection port/needle during and after runs.
Automation & Workflow Fully automated tasks such as housekeeping, PMT gain calibration, fluorescence compensation, sample acquisition, and data analysis.
“Express Modes” (predefined settings) and templates facilitate reproducible data acquisition and analysis workflows.
