UniCen series – for large, complex components

With Monforts UniCen series 1000 machine tools, you can machine large, complex parts (up to 1,500 mm turning length and 1,000 mm swing diameter) completely, reliably, and cost-effectively in a single setup. Maximum flexibility is achieved by five interpolating axes. The drilling-milling head, swiveling ±190° around the B-axis, positions tools at nearly any angle and position relative to the workpiece. Additionally, the tool head can be equipped fully automatically from a chain magazine with up to 90 tools via an automatic tool changer. As a result, even complex free-form surfaces with high surface quality can be produced.
