The Moore jig grinding machine is equipped with grinding heads driven by an air turbine. Four grinding heads are included.
The pneumohydraulically controlled vertical reciprocating movement is infinitely adjustable via a valve, 2–120 strokes at 51 mm travel. Direct reading of the measuring spindles with vernier to 0.001 mm. Suitable for contour grinding, taper grinding, slot grinding, and eccentric adjustment of the grinding spindle.
The machine body is made of Meehanite cast iron with heavy internal ribbing. The cross-slide is fully supported—no table overhang. The main spindle housing is heated.
