Kässbohrer had a vision with the Setra SG 221 HDS, but the ban on articulated touring coaches traveling through France prompted a shift in focus toward solo vehicles. The SG 221 HDS was subsequently used as a demonstration and information vehicle at exhibitions and conferences.
