DM1100 2C – Edge Rounding Machine for Laser, Flame-Cut, and Punched Parts.

The DM1100 2C rounds both the top and bottom edges of metal parts from a minimum size of 150 mm up to 1100 mm in length IN A SINGLE PASS.

The first station processes the products from below using two counter-rotating cross belts, while the second station processes the products from above, also using two counter-rotating cross belts. With these cross belts, both the inner and outer edges of the parts are rounded in one go.

Sharp edges are removed from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts produced by laser, punching, or shearing processes.

Simultaneous processing of both sides of laser-cut or punched metal parts saves time and reduces production costs.

Another advantage of the DM1100 2C is that the machine can also process small parts starting at 50 mm. By folding up a table, the rotation direction of the upper conveyor belt is automatically reversed and the gap in the first processing station is bridged, so that the parts go directly into the second processing station. This means small products from 50 mm up to 150 mm can be processed from one side only.

A further benefit of this machine is its ability to round parts with a protective surface film without damaging the film.
